It is written by a father, a pilot and an acute observer of people, young and old. The author compares the Montessori education his children are receiving with his own education. His insight makes Montessori, a revolutionary educational method, better understood and appreciated even by those teachers and teacher-trainers who know it well. Indeed, it was Judi Orion (Montessori teacher trainer) Ursula Melvin (our daughter, Montessori student and Montessori teacher), and Karin Salzmann (founding director of AMI/USA—The Association Montessori Internationale in the USA) who recommended it to us.
